5.5. Storage Tanks
The storage and handling of styrene is subject to legislative controls in many countries. The design and construction of storage tanks for styrene must therefore comply with the relevant national legislative controls.The general guidelines contained in Appendix 5 exemplifies the best general practice which is followed within the styrene manufacturing industry and should be used provided they do not conflict with any specific legal obligation.
